Yellowstone star confirms a rumor about a new spinoff series 

The Paramount Network hit series Yellowstone concluded with the season five finale in December. 

Yellowstone became a phenomenon after it debuted in 2018. 

The series spawned two prequel series, 1883 and 1923, with more spinoffs, sequels, and prequels reportedly in the works. 

Yellowstone may have seen the series finale air but the storyline is going to continue on with two main characters from the show. 

Actress Kelly Reilly who plays Beth Dutton and actor Cole Hauser who plays Rip Wheeler have been rumored to be getting a sequel series for their characters. 

Reilly posted a message on social media thanking the cast and crew ahead of the Yellowstone finale. 

“Words cannot convey how I feel about the people I got to work and create with,” Reilly wrote. “The support from the crew and the trust and dedication of the cast. The words I got to say and the woman I got to inhabit the past 7 years. It changed me. It lit me up.”

She also thanked the show’s creator Taylor Sheridan and its loyal fans. 

“It challenged me in every way possible and I will forever be grateful for it,” Reilly added. “For Taylor Sheridan, who took a chance on me and continued to write her in ways I got to feel on fire as an actor. Thank you the audience we made it for, for being on this journey with us.”

A fan from the United Kingdom decided to ask if this was the last fans would see of Beth Dutton. 

“So is the rumor in the UK that you and Rip are making a spin off season not true? Whatever happens, I’ve loved every second of every episode in every season. You guys are all amazing,” a social media user said. 

“True,” Reilly replied with a heart emoji. 

There is confirmation straight from the source that fans can look forward to a Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler series. 

Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton continued their story 

Deadline reported that there was a sequel series with Reilly and Hauser reprising their characters but there had been no confirmation from Sheridan or Paramount.

The report claimed that the contracts had been signed for a continuation series. 

Hauser told the New York Post in September that he would continue playing Rip Wheeler if he had the opportunity. 

“If Taylor writes it, I would certainly love to do it,” he said. “The cast, you know, I consider them all family. So if Taylor was to do something and bring it and put it on my table, I’m certain I would do it.”

Reilly told Town and Country she would like to explore her character more. 

“I am definitely interested in Beth, and who she is after some things have happened,” Reilly stated. “Who is she in peace? As an actor you’re like, ‘Ooh, let me at that.’ Wouldn’t it be fun to watch Beth go to therapy?”

Fans can look forward to seeing Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton continue their story in a future series.
