Florida’s Angie Nixon Told a Podcast the GOP Wants to Kill Black Americans and DHS Fired Back

ICE assaults have skyrocketed nationwide after months of Democrats branding agents Nazis and the Gestapo.

Now a Florida Senate nominee took that rhetoric even further on a podcast.

DHS did not let her claim about Black Americans go unanswered.

Nixon Told a Podcast the GOP Is Trying to Kill Her Community

Angie Nixon just pulled off one of the biggest upsets in modern Florida political history, winning the Democratic Senate primary outright.

She made her most explosive comments just days before that win, on the "QNA: Questions Need Answers" podcast.

Asked about working across the aisle with Republicans, Nixon didn't hesitate.

"They're not trying to work across the aisle," she said. "They're literally trying to kill us. And they are doing it on camera."

She went further, describing ICE as a weaponized paramilitary force built to spread fear through Black neighborhoods.

As proof, she cited a raid on a South Shore apartment building in Chicago last September, claiming agents restrained young children alongside their parents.

Agents detained roughly two dozen people that day, all suspected of ties to the Tren de Aragua gang.

DHS has already debunked one viral claim tied to that same raid, a toddler photo that turned out to be lifted from a parody video.

DHS Answers With Numbers Instead of Outrage

A DHS spokesperson pushed back hard, calling the racial-profiling allegation "disgusting, reckless and categorically FALSE."

DHS insists enforcement runs on immigration status alone, not skin color.

Then the department redirected the conversation toward its own officers.

Assaults on ICE personnel are up more than 1,300% over the same stretch the year before, when Biden was still in office.

Vehicular attacks against agents have climbed past 3,300%.

Death threats against officers and their families have spiked 8,000%.

The department wants that violence to stop immediately.

RNC spokeswoman Emma Hall argued Nixon's platform amounts to emptying prisons, opening the border, and raising taxes to bankroll a socialist agenda.

Hall added that every comment out of Nixon's mouth functions as "an in-kind contribution to Republicans in Florida and across the country."

Nixon knocked off Alexander Vindman, the Trump-impeachment-era NSC witness, in a nearly 12-point landslide even though he outspent her roughly sixteen to one.

She'll now face Sen. Ashley Moody, who has already branded her a self-proclaimed socialist over her Democratic Socialists of America membership.

A Pattern, Not a Slip of the Tongue

Nixon's "trying to kill us" line didn't come out of nowhere.

Rep. John Larson has called ICE "the SS" and "the Gestapo."

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz used a college commencement address of all places to compare ICE and DHS to Hitler's Gestapo.

The White House has already blasted this pattern, accusing the far left of branding American officers as Nazis and terrorists to score political points.

DHS has tied that same rhetoric directly to a documented rise in agents being rammed by vehicles and hospitalized on the job.

Nixon just became the latest Democrat to test how far that language can go, and she did it while running for a U.S. Senate seat.

You don't get to call the officers arresting gang members and rapists a death squad and act surprised when voters remember it in November.

A candidate who tells people the police are trying to kill them isn't making a gaffe, she's making a pitch, and Ashley Moody just got handed the easiest campaign ad of her career.
