Democrats are staring down the barrel at a total disaster of a 2024 Presidential election.
With Joe Biden’s prospects only looking more grim by the day, Democrats who are dissatisfied with the direction he’s taking the Party and country are running out of time to make a change.
And Joe Biden turned white as a ghost when this top Democrat announced his intentions for 2024.
“People aren’t satisfied right now . . .”
One of the biggest unanswered questions hanging over the 2024 Presidential election is whether or not Democrats will stick with President Joe Biden as their nominee.
Biden’s approval ratings remain underwater, and despite Democrats’ witch hunt indictments, former President Donald Trump appears to have a slight advantage over the President in key battleground states, according to recent polling.
On top of that, the overwhelming majority of voters, including a majority of Democrats, believe his advanced age and severely declining physical and mental capacity leaves him unfit for office.
But while some Democrats have attempted to warn their Party against sticking with Biden, the Democrat establishment has thus far stayed the course.
As a result, some Democrats who are disgruntled with President Biden and the Party are considering other alternatives.
That includes Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), who has been rumored to not only be eyeing an exit from the Democrat Party but also a potential third-party challenge to the President.
And during a recent interview with Fox News Sunday, Senator Manchin revealed that he will make a final decision on whether he’s leaving the Democrat Party to mount a third-party Presidential campaign within the next three months.
“Let me just say this,” Machin told Fox News’ Shannon Bream in response to a question about when he would announce his intentions.
“I’ll do it. I’m more concerned about the country right now. What you’ve seen, the theatrics have played out yesterday. And up until yesterday. It’s ridiculous.”
Bad news for Democrats
The theatrics Manchin referenced from the day before was the battle over a new spending bill as a government shutdown loomed.
The West Virginia Democrat praised now-former Speaker of the House, Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), for his efforts to keep the government open by siding with Democrats to fund Biden’s woke extremist agenda, which is what ultimately caused him to be removed as Speaker.
“You have to work together,” Manchin stressed.
“Kevin McCarthy, I praise Kevin McCarthy for what he did yesterday – he finally realized you can’t reason with unreasonable people, with the extremes. I hope that people, these people, are represented. I hope their constituents finally say enough is enough. We want people that at least keep our government running and moving in the right direction. We can do that. And I think, yes, I can bring it together. That’s all I’ve ever done.”
Senator Manchin added that if former President Donald Trump and President Biden don’t rein things in and start moving their positions back to what he calls the center, then “we’re going to bring it back.”
The Senator concluded by explaining that he will make a final decision on a White House run “before the end of the year,” as there is still much planning he needs to do for such a foray.
“We’re still planning,” Manchin said.
“I mean, if something that you’re saying would happen, there is no primaries; you just go right into the foray.”
Joe Manchin sure sounds like a man who is planning on making a third-party run for the Presidency.
And that’s nothing but bad news for Joe Biden and Democrats.
