The move she just announced through her foundation caught everyone by surprise.

MuttNation delivers massive support to shelters in every state

Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation partnered with Tractor Supply Company to deliver an incredible $255,000 through their "Mutts Across America" program.¹

The program works by awarding $5,000 surprise grants to one exceptional shelter or foster-based rescue in each state.

There’s even a special "Wildcard" recipient – a tribute to Lambert’s Grammy Award-winning album Wildcard – that gets the same generous support.

"Mutts Across America is MuttNation’s cornerstone program, created by my mother, Bev, over 10 years ago as a way for MuttNation to recognize outstanding shelters nationwide. Once a year, it lets us show our appreciation to the shelters, their staff and volunteers, for the hard work they do every day," Lambert explained. "And, thanks to Tractor Supply’s steadfast commitment to animals and great support of MuttNation, we’re now able to make an even bigger impact."²

Foundation steps up during flood disasters

MuttNation didn’t stop with their regular programming when disaster struck.

The foundation’s Relief for Rescues Fund stepped up with more than $300,000 in emergency assistance reaching over 20 animal welfare organizations across Texas, New Mexico, and New Jersey after last month’s catastrophic flooding.³

These emergency dollars helped cover everything from temporary housing for displaced pets to rebuilding damaged kennels and keeping exhausted rescue workers supplied during the crisis response.

Lambert’s personal connection to Texas made the disaster relief efforts especially meaningful for the singer.

"Texas is my home state and the tragedy that took so many lives – and forever changed so many others – left me without words to express my heartbreak. All I knew was that I wanted to help," Lambert shared. "I’m grateful that our MuttNation-Tractor Supply Relief For Rescues Fund could quickly jump into action. We started the Fund so we could immediately respond to the needs of animal shelters and rescues after a natural disaster, and it’s always incredible to see it in action during times like this. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to make that possible."⁴

Corporate partnership amplifies charitable impact

Tractor Supply has been a game-changer for MuttNation’s mission since the two organizations began working together in 2021.

The retail chain doesn’t just write checks – they also handle sales of MuttNation’s branded merchandise through their stores.

Since launching Mutts Across America more than 10 years ago, the program has provided financial support to more than 550 animal welfare organizations nationwide.

MuttNation has distributed more than $2.3 million in grants to deserving rescue groups across the country.⁷

The foundation’s work extends beyond just cutting checks to shelters.

MuttNation also helps organize pet adoption events, coordinates disaster response efforts, and arranges food donations for hungry animals.

The organization has broadened its mission to include horse rescue through their specialized Idyllwind Grant initiative.
