MLB pushes a new look that leaves nothing to the imagination

Feb 28, 2024

It is almost time for MLB to take the field, but these new uniforms have many players calling time out.

Now it looks like the League is facing its biggest controversy before the official season even starts.

And MLB players are furious after new uniforms may expose something you never want to see.

Baseball is almost here!

Much of America is starting the unthawing process.

We’ve been bogged down in our homes after a rough winter.

But now we are able to start seeing some green again for the first time in months.

And to many of us, when the green starts to reappear and the birds start to chirp we know that Spring is just around the corner.

Better yet, we know when we see that green that the baseball season is just a few weeks away.

You can just smell the freshly cut outfields and the popcorn from the stands.

But fans might be getting more than they bargained for this year.

The 2024 Major League Baseball season hasn’t even started yet and the League is already starting with a huge self-inflicted controversy.

Getting more than what you are paying for

Rarely is what players wear in the League makes headlines but this year the uniform of players is the only headline coming out of the MLB.

This year the MLB introduced a new uniform from Nike’s new Vapor Premier uniforms which are supposed to bring more movement and flexibility than the normal baseball uniform.

But according to some of the players in spring training, these uniforms are trash.

Some have claimed that they are cheaply made and are like something you would pick up at a knock-off brand store.

As one Baltimore Orioles’ player put it, the new jerseys are like “a knockoff” of a MLB jersey from TJ Maxx.

But these jerseys don’t just feel cheap but they are also revealing some areas of the players that people would usually have to pay extra for.

Executive director of the MLB Players Association, Tony Clark, went on ESPN to express the concerns of these see through jerseys.

Clark told ESPN that, “A lot of the rhetoric is confirmation that the pants are see-through.  It’s been an ongoing conversation where each day has yielded something new that doesn’t seem to make as much sense as you would like it.”

As Clark stressed, the issues and concerns for the jerseys are focused on the pants.

And then Clark expressed a view many fans and players have as he stated, “It’s disappointing that we’ve landed in a place where the uniforms are the topic of discussion. Each conversation with the guys is yielding more information with what we’re seeing.”

It has been well known that the MLB is trying to make changes to the League to make games more entertaining to watch.

But making pants see through isn’t exactly what fans were expecting.

If see-through pants are the future of the MLB, maybe that explains why the League has been partnering with tranny groups over the past couple of years.
