Charlie Kirk was murdered on a college campus exactly one year ago.
Republicans gathered in Dallas to honor him while a socialist coalition marched outside.
Police in riot gear ended up arresting the very radicals who want your country ungovernable.
Socialist Coalition Blames Everyone But Itself for Its Own Arrests
Dallas police arrested two demonstrators Thursday just blocks from where President Trump addressed the closing day of the RNC's midterm convention.
The department said the pair had assaulted a counter-protester and blocked a road – near what one organizer called the "closest entry point" to the event.
That organizer was Rick Majumdar, a demonstrator wearing gear branded with the initials of the Freedom Road Socialist Organization.
Majumdar told Fox News Digital his group's own march was organized by the "Dallas Against the Trump Agenda Coalition," a network of sixteen faith, immigrant-rights, and labor groups.
Asked why his fellow marchers got arrested, Majumdar didn't blame the people who allegedly threw punches.
He blamed "rioting provocateurs" instead.
Asked if he had any message for President Trump, Majumdar smiled and said one word – "Thank you."
Not sorry. Not "we'll do better." Thank you.
Vice President JD Vance used his prime-time speech that same night to call Democrats "the party of hatred," saying they're the party that "despises America and the people who built it."
Outside on the street, Majumdar's coalition was busy proving him right.
FRSO's Real Goal Has Never Been a Secret
The Freedom Road Socialist Organization isn't some spontaneous grassroots book club that got confused at a protest.
It describes itself as a national organization of revolutionaries fighting for socialism in America.
Its own leadership has said publicly that its explicit mission is to "make this country ungovernable."
That's not a conservative interpretation of their politics – that's their stated goal, in their own words.
This is the same network that has organized marches against past Republican conventions, including in Cleveland.
Now they showed up in Dallas on the one-year anniversary of an assassination that already put America on edge.
This Isn't Dallas's First Rodeo – and That's the Point
Socialists disrupting Republican gatherings isn't new, and pretending it is misses the pattern.
Nearly 300 people were arrested at the 2008 RNC in St. Paul, and hundreds more were hauled off during the 1968 Democratic convention in Chicago in what a government report later branded a "police riot" – the tactics have a track record, and the target keeps being the same party.
What's different in 2026 is the backdrop: a country still raw from watching a 31-year-old father of two gunned down for the crime of debating people in public.
Socialists picked this exact convention, on this exact anniversary, to prove Vance's point for him.
You don't need a political science degree to see which side is actually trying to keep the peace.
Dallas police did their job, made two arrests, and will release charges once booking is complete.
Majumdar and his coalition, meanwhile, are already rehearsing their excuses for the next city on the tour.
The pattern is simple – conservatives gather, socialists show up promising chaos, and when police respond, the socialists cry victim.
It worked in St. Paul. It worked in Chicago decades before that.
It isn't going to work in Dallas, and Americans watching the footage know exactly who picked this fight.
