The killing spree is beyond anything most Americans can imagine.

Reports from the International Society for Civil Liberties show that jihadist groups murdered more than 7,000 Christians during just the first seven months of this year.

Do the math – that’s roughly one Christian murdered every three hours, day and night, for months on end.

But this isn’t some recent outbreak of violence that just started making headlines.

These monsters have been perfecting their slaughter for over 15 years now.

Since Boko Haram launched their campaign in 2009, they’ve murdered approximately 125,000 Christians and driven more than 12 million people from their homes.¹

The scale of destruction is staggering – Islamic terrorists have obliterated more than 18,000 church buildings across Nigeria.

That’s not vandalism or random violence – that’s a coordinated campaign to wipe Christianity off the map.

Boko Haram’s brutality makes ISIS terrorists look restrained by comparison.

Their latest massacre shows exactly how these savages operate when they target Christian communities.

Just last month, Boko Haram fighters launched a nighttime raid against Wagga Mongoro, a Christian village in Adamawa state.

The attack began around midnight when heavily armed militants stormed into the sleeping community.

By morning, four Christians lay dead – David Mbicho, his son Daniel, Jude Jacob, and Omega Duda.

The terrorists torched homes, destroyed businesses, burned vehicles and motorcycles, then set fire to the local church building before vanishing into the darkness.

Local security forces tried fighting back but couldn’t match the jihadists’ firepower and military-style coordination.

This wasn’t random criminal activity – this was religious cleansing, pure and simple.

Nigerian Christian leaders warn that if this pace continues, Christianity could be completely eliminated from Nigeria within the next 50 years.

The media blackout exposes their twisted priorities

Here’s what should infuriate every American – major news networks have essentially blacked out coverage of this genocide.

Even Bill Maher, who regularly attacks Christianity on his HBO show, called out the media’s pathetic failure to report this story.

During a recent "Real Time" episode, Maher hammered news outlets for ignoring Nigeria’s Christian massacre.

"If you don’t know what’s going on in Nigeria, your media sources suck," Maher declared. "You are in a bubble."²

CNN contributor Van Jones admitted the obvious truth during the same show – there’s been virtually zero coverage from mainstream outlets and no organized response from progressive activists.

Jones called this media silence "a crime against African people, black people, and human rights."³

Maher asked the obvious question that exposes the Left’s hypocrisy: "Where are the kids protesting this?"⁴

College students will march for weeks over Gaza, but they can’t be bothered to notice the systematic extermination of an entire religious group in Africa.

The truth is brutal – American media decides which victims matter based on political convenience.

Christians getting slaughtered by Muslims doesn’t fit the narrative, so it gets buried on page 47 or ignored completely.

When Newsweek asked the State Department about this ongoing genocide, they got the typical bureaucratic garbage that accomplishes nothing.

State Department officials said they were "deeply concerned about the levels of violence against Christians and members of other groups in Nigeria."⁵

Deeply concerned.

That’s their response to 32 Christians getting murdered every single day.

Being "deeply concerned" doesn’t stop terrorist bullets or prevent church bombings.

It’s the kind of meaningless diplomatic doublespeak that lets politicians check a box while Christians get massacred.

Where are the targeted sanctions against Nigerian officials who allow this to continue?

Where are the military advisors and intelligence sharing agreements?

Where’s the international pressure campaign demanding immediate action?

The Biden-Harris administration spent four years obsessing over every social media post that hurt their feelings, but they couldn’t spare five minutes to address actual genocide against Christians.

When President Biden took office, his team actually removed Nigeria from the State Department’s list of countries with severe religious freedom violations.

While Boko Haram was slaughtering thousands of Christians, Biden’s State Department decided Nigeria didn’t deserve special attention anymore.

That decision sent a clear message to Islamic terrorists – kill Christians with impunity because America won’t do anything about it.

This genocide tests whether America will defend religious freedom

Look, what’s happening in Nigeria isn’t some isolated tragedy that doesn’t affect the rest of the world.

This is a test case for whether the international community will actually defend religious freedom when it’s under systematic attack.

The jihadists have learned they can murder Christians by the thousands without facing any real consequences from Western governments.

As long as they don’t directly attack Americans, they can operate genocide campaigns without interference.

That should terrify anyone who cares about religious liberty anywhere in the world.

Christian persecution has exploded globally over the past decade, and Nigeria represents the worst-case scenario of what happens when governments and media ignore the warning signs.

These Islamic terror groups aren’t going to stop with Nigeria – they’re already expanding their operations across West Africa.

If they succeed in eliminating Christianity from Nigeria, they’ll use the same playbook in other countries with large Christian populations.

The silence from American media and politicians sends a clear message to persecuted Christians worldwide – you’re on your own.

Our government will issue statements and express concern, but when push comes to shove, defending Christians isn’t a priority.

The blood of 125,000 Nigerian Christians cries out for justice, but Washington, D.C. and New York newsrooms have made their choice.

They’d rather focus on manufactured controversies than confront the reality of religious genocide happening right now.
