The Man Who Killed 5 Year Old Kamarie Holland Begged Alabama for One Thing

Jeremy Williams raped and strangled a 5-year-old girl whose own mother sold her to him.

Three years later, Williams stood before Alabama and asked the state for something most killers never request.

What he asked for, and what Alabama did about it Thursday night, is not what most Americans expect from death row.

Three States Pulled the Lever on the Same Day

Jeremy Williams pled guilty to all four counts of capital murder.

He waived his appeals.

He personally petitioned the state to move his own execution to the front of the line, saying he wanted to bring closure to Kamarie Holland's family.

Alabama granted his request Thursday night at the William C. Holman Correctional Facility.

His last words were a thank you to God for forgiving his sins.

Then he said "Goodnight" – and Alabama made sure of it.

Williams wasn't the only one to die that day.

Tennessee executed Anthony Hines for murdering a motel maid in 1985.

Oklahoma executed 70-year-old Carlos Cuesta-Rodriguez for killing his common-law wife in 2003.

Three executions, three states, one day – the first time that's happened in America since January 7, 2010.

This Is What Justice Actually Looks Like

The left wants you to believe the death penalty is barbaric.

What's barbaric is what Jeremy Williams did to a little girl whose own mother handed her over.

What's barbaric is the idea that Alabama taxpayers should have fed, housed, and provided healthcare to this man for the next 40 years.

According to the Associated Press, executions in 2026 have already reached 21 nationwide, following 47 in 2025 – the busiest year for capital punishment in over a decade.

Florida alone has executed 31 prisoners since the start of 2025.

Pew Research just found that 66% of Americans favor the death penalty for people convicted of murder.

That's not a fringe position.

That's two-thirds of the country saying some crimes demand the ultimate answer.

Republicans understand this at a gut level.

39% of Republican respondents in a YouGov survey strongly support the resumption of federal executions, compared to just 7% who oppose it.

Trump has been the engine driving this shift since day one of his second term.

He signed an executive order on January 20, 2025, to restore federal executions that Biden gutted.

He didn't hedge.

He signed the order.

The Democrats Who Stood in the Way

Joe Biden, in his final weeks in office, commuted the sentences of 37 federal death row inmates to life without parole.

37 killers who had been sentenced to death by juries of their peers – and Biden wiped it away with a pen stroke.

He left just three on federal death row: the Boston Marathon bomber, the Charleston church shooter, and the Pittsburgh synagogue killer.

Biden's parting gift to America was making sure the worst of the worst got to live out their days on the taxpayer's dime.

That is who the Democrats are.

They fight harder for the man who raped a 5-year-old than they fight for the 5-year-old.

Anti-death-penalty advocates argued that a killer wanting to die was itself evidence of mental illness, not a reason to grant his wish.

Let that land for a second.

The argument against executing the man who raped and murdered Kamarie Holland is that he agreed it should happen.

The Reckoning Is Just Getting Started

Thursday was a statement.

Three states, three executions, one day – America sending a message that justice has a spine again.

The pace of executions has now reached levels not seen since 2006, when 53 were carried out nationally.

Florida is on track to shatter every state record in modern history.

Trump's Justice Department is pushing to fast-track death penalty appeals, proposing new regulations that would shorten filing deadlines and restrict the endless federal court delay games that have kept killers alive for 20 and 30 years past their sentences.

When Jeremy Williams said "Goodnight" in that Alabama execution chamber, he got something Kamarie Holland never got.

A choice.

A moment.

A goodbye.

The left will spend the next week writing about the humanity of the men who were executed Thursday.

They'll publish nothing about the motel maid Anthony Hines murdered in 1985.

They'll publish nothing about Olimpia Fisher, killed by Carlos Cuesta-Rodriguez in 2003.

They'll publish nothing about Kamarie Holland, a 5-year-old girl who trusted the adults in her life and was destroyed by them.

That's the difference between us and them.

We remember the victims.
