Travis Kelce made one confession about Hollywood that raised this question

Jun 12, 2024

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is on top of the world after winning his second straight Super Bowl and dating pop megastar Taylor Swift.

Now that his celebrity has gone to the next level there are new opportunities for him.

And Travis Kelce made one confession about Hollywood that raised this question.

Travis Kelce talks about his acting career

Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce sat down with ABC’s Good Morning America for a wide-ranging interview.

He capped off the NFL season with a Super Bowl victory in February before a whirlwind offseason that’s seen him travel to Europe while his girlfriend Taylor Swift performs there on her Eras Tour.

The 34-year-old signed a two-contract extension this offseason to make him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.

But he’s closer toward the end of his decorated career after 11 seasons in the NFL.

That’s why he’s broadened his horizons this offseason by becoming the host of the Amazon Prime Video game show Are You Smarter than a Celebrity?, and he got his first producer credit on the film My Dead Friend Zoe.

Kelce is making his acting debut on the FX horror series Grotesquerie, which begins its first season this fall.

He talked about trying his hand at acting during his interview with Good Morning America.

“I’ve been on a few shows before; I’ve only played myself in those shows those,” Kelce explained. “It’s definitely different portraying a character and trying to find the emotions in everything and understanding of the script and the scene.”

He brought one of his traits from the football field to help him adapt to this new environment.

“It’s a challenge. I feel like an amateur right now, but I’m coachable,” Kelce continued. “That’s one thing I know from being in sports: I’m a coachable guy.”

Travis Kelce is living the dream

Good Morning America’s Will Reeve interviewed Kelce from the set of a commercial he was filming for a new energy drink that he’s invested in.

“On a scale from 1-10, how good is Travis Kelce’s life these days?” Reeve asked.

“Man, 20? A hundred? I’m so fortunate and so grateful of everything that’s come my way in life,” Kelce replied.

“I feel like I’m on the top of the mountain even after winning the Super Bowl and having the offseason that I’m having,” Kelce said. “Livin’ the dream baby.”

Kelce was filming a commercial for an energy drink he invested in by LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne, Accelerator.

“Got Livvy Dunne in the building. LSU gymnast. Absolutely just an awesome person. She’s down there making Accelerator look amazing,” Kelce said.

Dunne became a social media sensation and her relationship with Pittsburgh Pirates rookie sensation Paul Skenes has drawn comparisons to Swift’s and Kelce’s.

Kelce’s attention will turn to football with NFL training camp around the corner.

But his offseason indicates that his future could be in Hollywood whenever he decides to hang up his cleats.
