Some golfers at Rocky Mountain National Park found that out the hard way when they got way too close to nature.
And this massive elk just charged their golf cart in a video that’ll make you think twice about wildlife encounters.
Bull elk turns golf course into his personal territory
The incredible footage shows a massive bull elk – we’re talking close to 1,000 pounds of pure muscle and attitude – charging straight at a golf cart like it owes him money.
The video, shared by @goodbullguided on Instagram, captures the moment this beast decided those golfers needed to learn some respect.

Why this elk wasn’t playing around

Right now, it’s rutting season for elk, which means male elk are basically walking testosterone bombs looking for any excuse to prove their dominance.
During the rut, bull elk get territorial about everything – their females, their space, and apparently golf carts that get too close.
