Academy Award-winning actress Goldie Hawn has had a long career in Hollywood dating back to the 1960s.
She’s starred in hits like Private Benjamin, Overboard, and Bird on a Wire.
Hawn has been in a relationship with actor Kurt Russell since 1983.
But the celebrity couple is thinking of leaving their longtime home in Los Angeles after their home was broken into twice.
Hawn appeared on SiriusXM’s Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, where she revealed that her home was broken into two twice in a four-month span.
The first break in took place while she and Russell had gone out to eat dinner.
“It’s just ’cause L.A. is terrible. I mean, we were robbed once. We came back and went in the house,” Hawn recalled.
And these were no run-of-the-mill of the robbers.
“I went up to the stairs and I walked into my closet,” Hawn continued. “I just lost it. They had broken in from the balcony to our bedroom, our closets. And they completely knocked down my door, which is a safe door, so they’re very, very sophisticated, and they got a lot of my goodies, if you know what I mean.”

She was shaken from the first robbery but hoped that it was a one-off incident.
Hawn said that she was home alone with her dog when the next robbery occurred.
“I hear this big thump upstairs — and I was alone; Kurt wasn’t there — and I went, ‘What the hell was that?’” Hawn explained. “It was just like, was that a sonic boom? Did somebody jump somewhere? And as it turned out, the next day, we discovered that they were trying to get in my bedroom while I was in the house.”
Hawn said that she hired a security guard after those incidents.
“I’m never without a guard,” Hawn said. “We have a nice relationship with our guard and you feel good.”
She said that the crime in Los Angeles has her and Russel considering leaving.
“What if we couldn’t live in LA, where would we live? We both decided, I think it’s Palm Desert . . . It’s so safe,” Hawn added.
She’s also considered moving to Atlanta, Georgia after her son Wyatt Russell moved there.
“It’s so lovely there, I said, ‘Hey, guys, why don’t we all move there?'” Hawn said.
Crime has exploded in Los Angeles after the county elected Soros-backed George Gascon as District Attorney.
Former General Hospital actor Johnny Wactor was murdered in downtown Los Angeles in May after thieves tried to steal the catalytic converter out of his car.
Crime has gotten so out of hand in Los Angeles that not even the rich and famous are safe anymore.
