Chip and Joanna Gaines tackled some tough renovations on their HGTV show Fixer Upper.

Now they’re facing one of their biggest challenges yet.

And Chip and Joanna Gaines made a scary decision with this new renovation project.

Chip and Joanna Gaines are back for a brand-new Fixer Upper

Chip and Joanna Gaines became famous for renovating homes in Waco, Texas on the HGTV smash hit Fixer Upper.

The series went off the air in 2018 as the couple began to focus on the Magnolia brand.

Now they’re returning to HGTV with a new spin-off, Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse.

The couple is renovating a home for the show in a neighborhood near Lake Waco in Waco, Texas.

In the trailer, the Gaines are plotting on how to modernize the look of the 1960s home.

The spinoff marks the 10th anniversary of Fixer Upper debuting on HGTV in 2014.

“I think with this lake house, there’s something about it that just feels significant that this project landed on our ten-year Fixer anniversary,” Joanna Gaines said in the trailer.

“It was really meant to be,” Chip Gaines said.

The couple was already plotting major updates for the home in the trailer.

“I love this house. I love this view. Boom — you walk in, and it’s like, showstopper!” Joanna said.

Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse will be broadcast on HGTV and the couple’s Magnolia Network.

“When Fixer Upper premiered ten years ago, we couldn’t have imagined the journey we had ahead of us,” the Gaines said in the press release. “Though a lot has changed and evolved in the decade between then and now, our love for home is still at the heart of everything we do.”

“We feel honored that we get to continue pouring into the stories of these homes across Waco, and we’re excited to share our latest project with you this summer with Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse,” the Gaines added.

More shows coming to Chip and Joanna Gaines Magnolia Network

Chip and Joanna Gaines are introducing three new shows on their Magnolia Network cable channel.

Roller Jam features roller-dancing teams competing for a $150,000 prize with host pop star Jordin Sparks with former Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir and roller-skating star Terrell Ferguson as judges.

“Each episode, skate teams must create all-new routines to perform for Johnny, Terrell, and a celebrity guest judge in front of a live audience, with only one chosen in the end as the ultimate roller dancing team in the country,” the show’s press release states.

Second Chance Stage is a talent competition show that features contestants who missed their big break in show business performing “dancing to singing to stand-up comedy and more.”

Country star Martina McBride, actor Taye Diggs, and comedian Heidi Gardner serve as the judges.

In Human vs. Hamster, pet hamsters and humans compete to see which species can finish an obstacle course first.

“A cheeky eight-episode competition series where the world’s most remarkable pet hamsters go toe-to-toe with teams of humans in scaled challenges,” a press release for the show states.
